Become a Bird Scientist Children’s Nature Workshop
October 22, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Join us as we celebrate and learn about the birds that call Nehrling Gardens home. We’ll discuss the identification and habitats of birds like Blue Jays, Red-shouldered Hawks, Painted Buntings, Screech Owls, Red Cardinals, Sand Hill Cranes, Pileated Woodpeckers, and more! We’ll take an adventure through Nehrling Gardens to look for these birds and participate in hands-on activities that help children connect with nature. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore a hidden forest tucked away in the heart of Central Florida!
Recommended for ages 4 – 10, must be accompanied by an adult.
Cost: Suggested donation of $10 per child.
