From Garden to Table: The Mighty Meyer Lemon

Learn how to make lemon curd with local lemons from Nehrling Gardens! Taught by a classically-trained cook. We’ll top it off with a tasting of the lemon treats we’ve made, alongside homemade pound cake, berries and glass of prosecco. Participants will receive their own Meyer lemons, as well as the recipes used during the program to take home with them.

About Jennifer Hostetter:

Jennifer is a classically-trained cook with 15 years of experience in the food industry.

She received a Culinary Arts degree from Johnson and Wales, and a Master’s degree in Food Culture from the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Italy. Early in her career, Jennifer honed her skills working in restaurants and for caterers. More recently, she has worked as a recipe developer, food editor, and writer. She currently runs her own catering business in Orlando, Florida, where she enjoys cooking and learning about foods from around the world.
