Growing Food From Food Waste!

Have vegetable and fruit food waste and looking to put it to use? Use your food waste to re-grow new plants! Learn about how to re-grow your lettuce, onion, garlic, and other food scraps with Nehrling Garden’s sibling educating duo Caroline and David Chomanics.

*This class is intended for ages 6 – 10 years old.

This class will include:

– Food waste and re-growing discussion (including gardening tips!)

– The importance of growing food at home

– A fun game at the end!

This is an entry level course so no previous knowledge on the topic is required. Students will only need a paper and writing utensil for note taking. The link for the Zoom video call will be sent using your email provided upon sign up. Please email for more details, questions, comments, or etc.
