Event Information

Nehrling Gardens, a 6-acre historic home and botanical garden in the West Orange County settlement of Gotha, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Our founder, Dr. Henry Nehrling, is widely credited as being the father of Florida’s plant industry, especially the beautiful caladiums that have become synonymous with our state.

Today, a group of dedicated volunteers is working to restore Dr. Nehrling’s garden as a place of beauty, respite, and conservation. Organized as a non-profit entity, Nehrling Gardens is open to the public. We support the garden by raising funds for programs, upkeep, and maintenance. One way we do that is by sponsoring fund-raising events such as our upcoming Stepping Into Spring Festival.

This much anticipated annual event will feature some of West Orange county’s community organizations, Florida-friendly plants for sale, caladiums and caladium bulbs, plein air artists, vendors featuring garden products, raffles, food, live entertainment, and children’s activities designed to encourage the next generation of conservationists and gardeners.

We could not have reached last years goals without the help of our generous sponsors. This year, we are hoping that you will be interested in supporting Nehrling Gardens’ mission.

We believe that this partnership could greatly benefit your company as our target audience constitutes highly educated consumers who value conservation, nature, gardens, historic preservation and who shop locally. Sponsorship exposes your company to affluent members of Windermere, Isleworth, Keen’s Pointe, Dr. Phillip’s, Ocoee, Winter Garden, Gotha and surrounding West Orange communities.

Thank you from The Nehrling Gardens Board of Directors
